Bears Legend Steve McMichael Posthumously Diagnosed with CTE

Steve McMichael, the Hall of Fame defensive tackle who dominated as part of Chicago's legendary 1985 defense, has been posthumously diagnosed with CTE following his death at age 67 in November. His wife Misty donated his brain to research after McMichael's five-year battle with ALS. The two-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl XX champion was enshrined in Canton in 2024 after a decorated 13-year career.
